  • transmission is showing signs of serious failure. It shifts hard, takes too long to engage, and is making abnormal noises. Testing found an internal transmission pressure control fault, and inspection revealed that the transmission case has been physically damaged and is leaking fluid. Someone previously attempted to stop the leak with sealant, but the leak remains active because the transmission housing itself is damaged. Replacing the transmission is recommended to restore reliable operation and prevent complete transmission failure.
