- 1) verified complaint, found front brake squeak slightly. Found new pads are breaking in and brake dust is heavy. Put a non directional finish on the rotors and cleaned brake dust. Pads can now break in better. If noise returns recommend new rotors or BG Stop Squeal Service (arriving this week). 2) changed key fob battery. 3) Car has micro leak in evap. system. Recommend new fuel cap as an initial alternative to the two hour smoke test diagnoses. 4) Could not duplicate sputtering noise when starting the vehicle.
